Join us for an interactive workshop introducing students to actual food security issues identified by community organizations and local stakeholders through ongoing Penn State–community partnerships. These aren't hypothetical problems, they're real challenges affecting people and communities today, and you can make a difference.

Working with students from different majors and backgrounds, you'll explore community needs, develop empathy, identify meaningful challenges, and generate innovative solution ideas. Through collaborative problem-solving, you'll learn how technology, data, community knowledge, and interdisciplinary teamwork can create a lasting impact, and walk away with new skills, a Nittany AI Challenge team, and a head start on solutions that matter.
