Join the Nittany AI Student Society for a two-part event series called  “AI 101.” The first event in this series will teach non-technical and technical students about basic artificial intelligence terminology and give a soft demonstration of how artificial intelligence “learns.”

AI 101 events will be led by members of the Nittany AI Student Society, which is a student organization whose mission is to educate students about the impact of artificial intelligence, connect students with the Nittany AI Alliance, and facilitate relationships between local entrepreneurs and students to improve communities through AI technologies.

The AI 101 event series is adapted from AI for Anyone’s AI 101 toolkit. AI for Anyone is a nonprofit organization co-founded by Penn State alumni Haroon Choudery and Mac McMahon. Choudery and McMahon’s vision is to see a world where each and every person has at least a basic understanding of AI and the impact it is poised to have on the world. Through education, AI for Anyone strives to empower people to be proactive and to have a voice in the discussions that will shape their future.
