Submission deadline is Friday, January 31, 2020, by 11:59 p.m. (ET).
The Idea Phase is open to all interested teams. During this phase, participants will submit a short proposal describing the challenge they are addressing, the impact the solution could have, and how they will use artificial intelligence to develop their solution. All submissions must align with one of the four interest areas that are the focus of the 2020 Challenge: health, humanitarianism, education, or sustainability and climate change.
Prototype presentations will be held Wednesday, April 1, 2020, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (ET).
Participation in the Prototype Phase is by judge selection and invitation only. This phase will require the submission of a prototype of the original proposed project and a video demonstration of the solution by Wednesday, March 25, 2020. Teams will pitch solutions to a panel of reviewers on Wednesday, April 1.
Minimum Viable Product (MVP) Phase
MVPs will be due on Monday, August 10, 2020. MVP pitches will be held Thursday, September 10, 2020, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (ET).
Participation in the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) Phase is by judge selection and invitation only. The MVP phase will conclude with the development and submission of a minimum viable product (MVP) based on the original proposed solution.
